How to control a wide section in Confluence apart from the default settings in the editor (predetermined sizes)?
Best regards,
Wojciech Andryszek
@Wojciech Andryszek_Deviniti You can try using a layout and typing your content only in the section that best matches the width and alignment you are trying to achieve.
For example, if you want to have the text left-aligned to the page, but not extend all the way to the right side of the page, you might use the Right sidebar layout. Or the Three columns with sidebars for text only in the center of the page.
I sometimes also use one of these layouts where I want my steps on the left and a screenshot on the right (rather than inserting the image below a set of steps). You can insert multiple layouts on the page as you need them.
However, you cannot set the width to a certain value of your desire?

@Fabian Dufosse No, you cannot change the sizes of the layout panels. If you don't mind having border lines visible, you can use a table and set fixed column widths.
