Comala workflow separate @labels@ list

Is there a way in a work flow to separate out the values within the @labels@ reference? 

By default they are comma delimited. Is there a way to get each value separately?

For example, if @labels@ returns label1,label2,label3 how can I get label1 as a value by itself?

You can use the @label@ value reference for label added and label removed events. See https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CDML/Event+references for more details.
