Confiform Field Restrictions not working with Groups

I have fields in my Confiform that I want to restrict so only certain individuals can edit it. If I put the individuals in using their names, the restrictions work. As this list of names fluctuates frequently, I created a group to maintain the list. I've added the group to the space and page permissions, but the field won't let the individual users of the group edit the field if only the group is put in the restrictions.

Is there something else I need to do to use the group to restrict the fields?

We've given full access to the Space and Page to all the users in the group as well as the group. Still the fields aren't recognizing the users in the group when they try to edit the field.

Yes, it works the same way as with usernames.

Have you given edit permissions to the page where the ConfiForms Form Definition is configured or have added those users as superusers/administrators in the ConfiForms Form Definition macro?
