I have configured Confluence so that it uses the New Relic java agent to monitor the performance of the application and server. Now I would like to enable Real User Monitoring but can't see any end user (RUM) data appearing.
I've followed both the set up instructions (http://newrelic.com/docs/java/real-user-monitoring-in-java) and the FAQ for troubleshooting this very problem (http://newrelic.com/docs/features/i-am-not-seeing-any-end-user-rum-data) with no success.
I've then emailed New Relic support and they suggest that the javaagent is "auto-instrumenting" the compiled jsp.java files correctly.
As you can imagine I am left a little puzzled, especially as I have go this to work on our JIRA instance (4.4.4) Which leaves me wondering whether it is possible to use this tool with Confluence.
Has any one else got this to work with the Standalone version of Confluence (we're using 3.5.13 as a service on Windows Sever 2008 R2)?
Thanks all
Hi Ian,
Have you been able to solve this? I have the same problem using Confluence 4.2.1 on Ubuntu.
