Confluence 5.4: TOC doesn't work with Navitabs

Hello,

I create a page that contains a TOC macro at the top of the page followed by a group of navitabs that contain headings.

The TOC generates. But the headings do not work. If I move the contents out of navitabs, the TOC links work.

Is this how the Navitab macro works normally? If so, that hurts it's versatility. Is anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks,

Were you thinking of the Localtabs? I used those too and had the same issue. Were you able to get Localtabs to work? That would be a good alternative.

No, I'd used tabs in Theme Press. And I thought of using toc-zone to put a toc on each individual tab (not cross-tab), but haven't done that yet. I did try putting in one main TOC on the cover page, and saw that it didn't work.

Does that work for you? I added a TOC zone with TOC macro into each tab. They still didn't work. The tabs are useless without that functionality.

How exactly did you get it to work?

Sorry, I was thinking of a different kind of tab. I see Navitabs makes tabs to navigate between pages. If what you are trying to do is get a TOC on one page that takes you to another page, I don't think you can do that. My toc-zone recommendation was off base.

I've noticed that the TOC macro doesn't work correctly with tabs, yes.  The best I think you could do would be to use toc-zone to make a TOC for each tab separately.
