Confluence - Can you configure the default "blank" page?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

When a user click "Create" to create a page it will generate a blank page.  We have a template which we use which we prefer to be selected by default.  How do we force the Create button to use our global template?
