When using the work item macro and you just want the summary (number of issues). If the query has only one issue returned when you publish this it gives you the link to that item instead of the number of issues. Also the Macro is no longer there.
To fix this I have to manipulate the item so it won't show in the query then post the query so it returns "0", then go back and add the data back to the Work Item that will have it appear in the query. Then the page will show 1 item. If I happen to go back into the query when there is still only 1 item then the behavior returns.
Is this on Atlassian's radar to fix?
Hi @Tami Blake ,
If the macro displays only one item, can't you just switch to Inline display option?
This should result in displaying "1 Issues" smart link as visible below the table 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
SO, I went back and made sure it said inline link within the macro before saving. When you do that it still turns into just a link and the macro disappears when you save. There is no option now to go back and edit the query. However, this helped me find another work-around. Make it a list then saving then turning it into an inline link from the macro options after saving does work.
