Hello,
Our team is looking for a way to store and archive article(s) we find online in our Confluence space. It would basically go: send an email to @address --> Creates a blog in a specified space.
It would be great if we can send the article to an email address and have that create a blog or something similar inside Confluence. I've already asked Atlassian support this question and it seems like there isn't a feature to support this at the moment.
I am open to suggestions as to how others have accomplished something similar in Confluence OnDemand.
Thanks,
Viet
You would probably have to write something, but the SOAP api is capable ot remotely creating pages. Another option would be to tie someting into Bob Swift's Confluence Command Line Interface to create the pages. If you can create/use something to get it from email to a file format then the Confluence CLI could upload the content to Confluence.
Thanks Davin. The users that will be using this probably wouldn't be comfortable using Confluence CLI or the SOAP API. I will look into this further tho.
