Confluence Displays Everything in French, Even Though Language is Set to German

Hello everyone,

One of our colleagues is facing an issue where Confluence displays everything in French, even though the language is set to German in their Atlassian account.

In the Confluence settings, the language option is greyed out and cannot be changed. Other colleagues are not experiencing this issue.

Our admin can only assist remotely but is unsure how to resolve the issue.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem and know how to fix it?

Let the affected users check if it's happening in different browsers and/or in their preferred browser's incognito mode.

There might be a browser extension and or browser setting that automatically translates every UI element into a specific language.
