I add a group in the Product access -Guest access (p1),but after I removed the group(p2) I found members of the team are still guests(p3), I have checked any permissions place but they have already been removed(p4).
Do I need to go to other places to remove the guest permission of the team?
Group members can't view any confluence space now(p5)....
Urgent help!
Jira support confirmed that although the administrator has removed the guest of the group, it still exists in the background database, so the Jira developer finally removed it manually.
Hello @Ivanna
A Guest user has to be explicitly granted access to an individual space, as a Guest user can have access to only one space at a time. Have you gone through all the Spaces' Permissions and removed Guest users from the individual spaces?

Hi @Trudy Claspill ,
In fact, members of the CX-Team group aren't guests , but just want to test the Confluence GUEST permission to see what would happen after adding the group, so I removed the group after the test .
I expected that members should be able to see all the spaces not only one as a guest, but I found that even if the group has been removed in Confluence GUEST, everyone in the team is still displayed as a guest, which is not normal.

I am experiencing this as well. Add users as guest, then removed them from guest and added them to a full confluence user and they still show up as guest.

Did you both confirm that users are not in the confluence-guests-??? user group?
For both of you I would recommend having your Admins contact Atlassian support directly.

For my issue. It turned out to be a timing mechanism associated to the user account. It cleared up after about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
