Confluence OnDemand Analytics Update?

Wondering if analytics can be improved beyond the very basic "Activity" analytics in Confluence OnDemand?

I saw some reponses to this in 2012 saying better analytics are not available, and connecting an OnDemand instance to Google Analytics was not possible either. Any updates since then?

Would be super helpful to have more detailed/granular analytics on Confluence usage so I can improve it for our users. For example, it'd be helpful to see who is using what pages, what they are searching for, where they are getting stuck, etc. Any of this possible?

If not, are there any add-ons that could help with analytics?

I just spoke to my colleagues today, here is some update on pricing. 

As we hosting the Google Analytics plugin on AWS it's creating some cost for us, this is the main reason why we will likely charge for it at some point - not in the next couple of months as usage (hence cost) is still low, and we'd like have some more Feedback.

You can expect to see pricing to scale from 5 USD (lowest tier) to about 50 USD max on the 2000 USD tier - so it's a lot cheaper than the plugins from other vendors.

Please remember though that our plugin only connects you to google analytics. Looking at your reports within your Google Analytics Console - the other plugins give you analytics within Confluence. We are just aiming at very different use cases.

Nearly all the data available from Google Analytics will be available to you. Above were just example that I personally found useful. 

Here is the setup guide. You will need to have Tracking ID from Google. If you don't have it yet, there is a link in the guide, which will show you how to get it.

Since Ondemand Confluence doesn't work with GA, our suggestion here would be to vote and also share your thoughts in this Improvement Request. Otherwise, feel free to let us know if you have some specific questions on this one.
