We have a problem where people are creating pages in Confluence and including uploaded pictures. These picture are only available to the person who created the page. No one else can see the pictures, they look like broken links. Any ideas?
Totally a guess – have the images actually been uploaded to the wiki page, or are you loading them from a file that is local to the one user who can see the pictures? This can be hard to detect In the version of Confluence we use (5.5) it is hard to determine what the path to the picture is without looking at the page storage format. Another possibility is that the images are stored on a different page, and that page is not open to viewing by the people who see broken links.
Our Confluence version is 5.6.3. It's very strange, some people have no problem uploading pictures and other people it never works. Thanks for the suggestions, the spaces these problems are happening are open to everyone with no permissions set.
