I've been trying to export the spaces from our internal Confluence server to Confluence Cloud but cannot export the spaces. The only options I'm given to export a space is "Word" and "PDF." I've read as much as I could find online but can't seem to find the proper steps. I also tried to export/import the whole site, but that's not supported.
Any advice/direction would be fantastic.
Thank You in advance for any assistance.

Hi Bud,
To export a space from your Confluence 5.10.x instance for the purpose of importing it to a Cloud instance, please access the Space tools menu at the bottom left of your Server page:
Then you can see the export options - you want XML:
Thanks,
Ann
Ann,
I don't have that option. I'm logged in as the Administrator and can access everything else. I've attached the options I have.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
The space tools menu shows from a page in the space, it won't show under the cog wheel options (admin panel).
Please try:
Go to cog wheel>General Configuration
Scroll down on the left and choose space permissions:
Choose Manage Permissions for the space you want to export:
Make sure you have admin and export permissions on the space:
Go to the space home page or any page on the space, the Space Tools menu should on the bottom left:
The export options are under Content Tools.
Thanks,
Ann

Ann,
For the record, I'm an idiot..... Thank You for your help, I see it all now. I just wasn't looking in the right place.

The UI can be a little daunting. Happy to hear you found the settings. :)

Ann,
In the process of exporting I also found another way of doing it. Once in permissions go to content tool > export. No need to even use that bottom menu, lol.
