We recently installed and configure the Confluence Mobile Server APP and one of my users reported the excessive number of notifications (16 million and counting). The number continues to grow....
The user has confluence settings->push notifications->all activities
Anyone else having this issue?

Could you clarify a few things for us?
1- is the user receiving those notifications via push on their phone or email?
2- are other users having the same issue?
3- what OS is running on his smartphone?
4- what happens if the all activities setting is turned off?
5- what type of notifications are received?
6- since when is the user facing this issue?
7- has the user tried to reinstall the application on their phone?

we turned off notifications and turned it back on. It's back to doubling the totals.
