Confluence Team Calendar - subscribed to through iCal doesn't show JIRA Issues

Liam Walker March 27, 2014

Hi,

Were decided to start using Team Calendars over Google calendar now as you can publish the TC using a iCal feed.

Whilst this works well for Events the feed doesn't contain the entries for the events "imported" from JIRA.

Has anyone had any experience of this and a way to fix it?

Thanks

Hey Liam,

Can you check if the user trying to view those events have access to the project in JIRA?

I'm asking that because upon creating a JIRA calendar, all users in your system can see the calendar name in Confluence. However, the contents of the actual calendar events (issues, versions, sprints etc...) automatically respects your JIRA permissions - so it is possible for users to be subscribed to a JIRA calendar and not see all events since this is controlled by your JIRA permissions as you can see in here.

Thanks and Regards,
