Confluence Tools -> Page Restrictions dosen't work

I tried to restrict my page (Tools -> Page Restrictions ) into my space but it doesn't work

Do you have any ideas?

When you restrict a page to an user, that means that only that user can see the page.

I have the same issue. Tried to restrict viewing of the page to several people, but they still can open and see it. I tried both - restrict viewing to user groups these people belong to OR restrict specifying exact people OR both. People still can open and see the content of the page.

OK I will describe short structure and expected result

So..

TEST SPASE -- permissions: View, Add, Export for User1 and User2

• Page 1 -- restrict viewing of this page for User1
• Page 2

Test result

User1 can see all pages (Page1 and Page 2)

Expected result

User1 must see only Page 2

with this configuration its clear that User1 can see Page 1 & Page 2 because you included him in the restriction.

if you don't want User1 to see Page 2 only you should set restrictions on Page 1 to User 2 only

your setup only allows User 2 to see Page 2 only.

Page 1 only allows User 1

Page 2 allows both Users

Not sure if you already figured things out, but from past experience, page layouts customizations are usually related to the Restrictions pop up not showing up. So if you can confirm that you don't have any customizations in Confluence Admin > Look and Feel or at a space level (Advanced tab > Layouts) that would be helpful.

What do you mean by "It doesn't work". Any error mesages? are the options displayed? Can you set restrictions but they don't work?

Could you describe the symptoms in a bit more detail?

Please also list the steps you took and tell the expectation versus what happened.
