Confluence Usage stats reinstall data issue##

There is issue in confluence usage stats plug-in on my server. it is asking for uninstall. If I uninstall and reinstall do i get old data or old data will be deleted?
If deleted, is there any any chance to retain the data?

There is some issue in plug-in, so I want to uninstall and install again.
