Confluence User Not Showing When Adding User

We have an ldap sync to use AD accounts to log into confluence.   When going in as admin and trying to add a new user it does not find him.  He was hired before me and my account shows, so I doubt it's a ldap sync issue since obviously it has synced since he's been here being as though my account shows.  So far this is the only user I'm having this issue with.  Please advise if you have seen this issue before.  Thx.

Hi Ricky,

I understand when you try to add a specific user you cannot find him. Where are you trying to add him?

Does the user show up under Confluence Admin Console>Users? If not, he is not being picked up by the LDAP sync and we need to examine the LDAP User Directory configuration under Confluence Admin>User Directories.

If the user is listed in the system but does not show when you try to add them to permissions or at-mention them, then please try the resolutions in this article: Unable to @ mention certain users in Confluence
