We're running Confluence 5.1.3 and JIRA 6.0.1. While we've enjoyed the ability to reference users and see them with the at sign "@username" format in our pages, they've recently gotten out of control and have started appearing in front of JIRA tickets and then growing in number. For example, here's a snippet from one of our pages:
In the editor, it looks okay:
and during preview it looks okay:
But, once the page is saved, the end result is full of recursive at signs... and they appear to be getting worse (more of them) over time. We're drowning in at signs. Is anybody else seeing this problem? I've tried Googling for an existing Confluence ticket, but haven't found one yet (maybe I haven't found the right keywords yet). I can file a support ticket, but thought I'd check here first.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Or should I just file a ticket for this?

Confluence 5.1.3 (Gliffy, Balsamiq, Team Calendars + standard plugins)
JIRA 6.0.1
Safe mode didn't help. I submitted a support ticket. Thanks.
Hello Burke,
Can you try Enable Safe Mode and see if the same problem occurs? This is to eliminate the possibility of a plugin's interference. If that fails, I would recommend you to file a ticket for it.
Thanks
