Hello, can the new Confluence automation help build a reference resource with expiration dates for each page and notifications?
much of our documentation is in Confluence and I would like to create a single source for multiple Teams to view. In some cases the information requires review monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Can Confluence automation assign a review date to a page, a status if overdue, and can it send notifications based on the status?
I had hoped to ask about this at the Community meeting in NYC but won’t be able to make it.
Thanks very much,
Dawson
your request is beyond the scope of Confluence's built-in automation. However, your use case is a good fit for Breeze, available via the Atlassian Marketplace.
It implements automated content analyses and provides dedicated views for outdated pages ready to review or archive.
In fact, it is a full-fledged content lifecycle management solution and features
👉 Feel free to give it a try or schedule an appointment with me for a personal demo.
Cheers, Adrian from B1NARY (the developers of Breeze)
We have a free addon, Keep it up to date!, which allows you to create tables which show outdated documents. I think it fits most or all of your requirements. Just try it.
You could e.g. show all documents which have not been updated in 30 days, which are e.g. in a specific space. And so on for the other periods.

I don't think that confluence automation can do that. Perhaps you can try comala document management app for this. Might help https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/142/comala-document-management?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
