Confluence, clean install, Windows Server, Postgre, Cannot create a space or a post?

Hi Guys, 

I am running confluence in Windows Server with PostgreSQL. Everything installed fine. I can create users. 

When I login in, I get a blank welcome page and when I click on the create button, I just get a spinning disk.

Any idea where I can start trouble shooting? I am a linux/mysql person so completely lost with Postgre/Confluence on Windows.

Any help greatly apreacited!

Hi Jonathan - I am sorry for only replying now. Because I am new it seems I can only do one post every 24h... can't even edit an old post. Sorry - I meant to attach the logs, but couldn't. The log errors that I get don't turn up on any searches. I hope you can help?

I have reinstalled the system completely, double checking that I follow the online instructions and I have replicated the issue exactly.

Windows Server 2012 with the latest confluence download and PostgreSQL installed exactly as recommended by the instructions.

It might be worth noting that confluence worked fine with the internal demo DB on the default folder structure in drive C. I uninstalled that, and then did a clean install on drive D (SAN), in a new folder, with PostgreSQL. 

Some truncated ERROR entries from the LOG file. Could you possibly help point me in the right direction?

Hi Rudolf,

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm having the exact same issue (running the same setup you have with confluence 5.9.14) and can't figure it out or find an answer yet.

I've been through the page Jonathan referenced... and this one too: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/troubleshooting-issues-with-page-and-space-creation-871993108.html. But no luck yet.
