Confluence cloud trial domain name

Hello everyone,

I am currently in the process of elaborating a migration of our confluence server to the confluence cloud.

While activating the trial I noticed that I already have to choose a domain name. Therefore, my question:

Since I’m only able to change the domain name via contacting the atlassian Support, should I use a throwaway domain name for my trial or am I able to convert it to my ‘real’ atlassain domain name afterwards?

Welcome to the community 🙂

You can convert it to real (prod) atlassian domain name

Create another instance for trial for testing and keep the prod as active when you migrate prod data from server

Hi @rsw_ag

I believe you have the option to change the URL three times by yourself since yesterday. They just released the feature but it worked very well for my own private instance.

Please go on https://admin.atlassian.com

There you will find your domain.

1. Switch to Products

2. Product URLs

and there it is possible to change the URL. Here is the post.
