Confluence does NOT open the requested page after SSO login

Hi,

Problem scenario:

• An authenticated user tries to open a Confluence page in their browser
  • e.g. https://.../display/ABC/This+is+an+example+page
• The browser is redirected to the Microsoft SSO/oauth login page
• The user authenticates
• The browser is redirected back to Confluence using the following example url (shortened):
  • /openid/oauth2-callback/457b84c2-9f2e-44c2-8a8c-e5645c902efb?code=KlpxK0G1JgXaP4...7D2TY_pe&state=b33417b2-b13f-4679-8a07-b0e5d5ac2a82&session_state=c7108569-9337-415e-abcc-e201869f9ef2
• Problem: Confluence now redirects to the /index.action page and not to the Confluence page the user originally requested.

It's a big annoyance/issue for all of the users. I'm hoping someone here knows what the problem is and that it's just a configuration issue...

Hi @Jonas Larsen 

What do you use to configure SSO, are you using a 3rd party app ?

Usually the url you are requesting when beeing redirected to SSO is send to your Idp and then you are redirected to this URL.

It's most of the time a parameter named Relay State or Target. Do you have such option to enable/disable ?
