I am the administrator for our JIRA / Confluence instance. We are considering moving from Basecamp to Confluence. One big limitation is the ability to notify team members of a new post. I have on several occasions attempted to send a page to my colleagues for their review and comment without success. Instead I have to email it to myself - the system seems to only recognize me - and then forward using Outlook, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a wiki.
How can I get Confluence to recognize the other users of the system?
Hi Lisa,
Perhaps there are some errors in Inexing, which you need to reindex to fix this issue or other users haven't logged in to Confluence which is why they are not recognized by the system. There is a bug on this.

Hope this information helps.
Rian - thanks for your response. I'll keep my eyes open to see if they are searchable after logging in again to the system.

Hi Lisa,
In Confluence you are able to share content like emailing a page. The recipients can be Confluence users or any email addresses.
