Hi,
Is it possible to set a friendly link in Confluence?
Lets say I have a page http://wiki/display/ABC/My+Home+Page#
and I want http://wiki/ABC to automatically resolve to my page.
Thanks in advance!
Confluence has already a feature built-in that is similar. This produces links like (in your case) http://wiki/x/ZgAJ. It is located at (Page) Tools -> Info.
If you want to have it even shorter you would have to implement your own Servlet Filter Module (https://developer.atlassian.com/display/PLUGINFRAMEWORK/Servlet+Filter+Plugin+Module).
Thanks for the reply, yes we are aware of the tinyurl but we are wondering if it is possible to have a 'friendly' url so that I can have a url of a space that as simple as http://wiki/ABC, right now we have something similar to http://wiki/display/ABC/My+Home+Page#

If you link to a space home page you can simply use the URL without the page name.

Hmm. The request was so that they can give out to users a more friendly 'direct' URL to their space like I described before. If this is not possible then well gonna have to settle for the current URL's.

A quick short cut is to press K while on the page
