We managed to set up Confluence from http to https and it seemed to work, but only when clicking the spaces under "Recent spaces".
When going to "Space directory", the links of the site spaces are still the http-links. I tried the following, but it didn' help: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Not+All+Requests+are+Redirected+to+HTTPS
Any ideas?
Can you check if the base URL is updated to https under General configuration?

The above KB is a section of our main guide to set up HTTPS/SSL, if that is not configured your Confluence will not redirect from http to https.
Since you followed the KB to add the proper lines into the web.xml file could you please confirm the following:
