Hi all,
I've fought with this quite a bit over the past month or so, and it's finally driven me to distraction. I haven't seen any other posts around this, but it's happening to me on different computers and browsers so I don't think it's isolated.
What happens is this: I write a document in the Confluence editor, and the whole time the auto-save seems to be happening. There's no manual save button, so I just have to trust it. Then, after spending 2 hours writing content, I click the "Preview" button to see how it looks and half of my work is gone. Not just at the bottom, but random blocks of text in the middle, some images but not others, with no clear pattern.
Does anybody else see this too? Is there a way to not have this happen? I guess I can copy/paste everything out to Word or something, but then I'll lose my formatting and images.
And yes, I've done the Level 1 support stuff: cleared browser cache, logged off/on, tried different browsers, even different computers. It sure would be nice to be able to actually trust that "Changes Saved" means what it says, or to have a way to manually save everything. If anybody else has had this problem and overcome it, I would be incredibly grateful for your advice.
Thanks,
Scott
