Confluence - "Edit in Office" button has disappeared

For attachments in Confluence, the "Edit in Office" button has mysteriously disappeared.  It was working great up to about a week ago -- but now is no longer there.  Ideas on what has happened and how to correct?

Did you lose your space permission, "Pages - Add"?  I noticed even if you had Attachments Add/Delete for a space, which allows you to modify attachments, if you don't have the Pages-Add permission, the Edit in Office button will not display.
