Hi There,
As a team (part of a big wider team) using confluence, we would like to get the 'Questions for Confluence' add-on.
Unfortunately, the add-on page says the following about Cloud pricing: "Add-ons for Confluence are licensed at the maximum user count (for monthly) or maximum user tier (for annual). For example, if you have 50 Confluence users on a site, your add-on pricing is for 50 users."
There are currently around 2000 users on our confluence, only a small subset of that (two teams of 20) need this addon. This pricing of 'everyone needs to have the addon' seems very prohibitive at the current user count.
Is there any way to get this add-on only for the 20 users of 2000? our only other option is to look at another external question & answer product, but we would like to stay within the confluence eco-system.
This is how they get you :D @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- and @Ollie Guanare correct.
The more your environment grows, the higher the cost of your add-ons. Do note, the maintenance price after the first year is usually lower than the year 1 cost ; Might be worthwhile emailing their support to see what year 2's pricing is for 2000 users. Also use 3rd party vendors to potentially get a price break on the add-ons.
As far as I know, the number of Confluence users must match the number of users of the plug-in.

Ollie is right, the add-on must match the user numbers.
