In one of my confluence-cloud sites, the sidebar today has changed such that it is global. Instead of the configurable sidebar, showing a pagetree, it shows the same list of spaces everywhere on the site. There seems no obvious way to configure the sidebar anymore.
There was an informational tool tip which I closed without reading (yes, sorry), and I would like to switch back to the user friendly side bar I had before. Any tipps on how to accomplish this?
It looks like Atlassian has changed the UI of Confluence Cloud again. At least on my instance the page tree was reverted to the old one today, and the new extra sidebar (where you switch between spaces) has been replaced by a dropdown menu. Plus there is a completely new homepage.
This is GREAT! This brings back the old user experience, which was extremely fast and uncluttered. And it adds some improvements in a very unobstrusive way.
Hi Romina,
I did not find a way to bring it back the same way it was before, but apparently the new solution is not as bad as it seemed in the first place:
So I can cope with this - does this work for you as well?

I mean, it is still kind of "complicated" because if you need to get to page "x" you have to choose the space from the sidebar (onclick), then click on the Pages Tab (two clicks) and only then is the page tree available to start looking for the actual page you need.
Most of our users work in only one space so these extra clicks do nothing for them, plus the new double sidebar only consumes viewing space.
So yeah, we still miss the old navigation

Same here – we absolutely miss the old navigation (which was considerably faster by the way)…

Hi! I have the exact same problem. Did you figure out a way to bring back the old sidebar?

As far as I know there is no way to bring it back. But if I'm wrong I'd be very happy to learn how to do it!

Can you post some screenshots of what you are seeing?
