Confluence using AD for users and we have some missing

Confluence using AD for users and we have some missing

We are using Active Directory for authentication. If I log in as a normal user and search for about 5 people they are missing. If I log in as admin I can find them just fine from within the tool. As far as I'm aware they are brand new users to Confluence. I tried a full synchronization of AD and that did not fix my "view" for lack of a better word as a normal user when searching for them. Any ideas?

Just out of curiosity, which DB and which DB version are you running Confluence on?

PostgreSQL 9.0.3 We had to rebuild the index and now it's working.
