Confluence won't let me change the size of a picture

I have a page where I have pictures of powerpoint slides and they're all the same size except 2 pictures that just won't go to the size I want. And when I change the size of the other pictures to the size of the ones I can't change, when I publish the page the 2 problematic pictures size down automatically.

Can you specify what do you mean by 'pictures of powerpoint slides'? Are those screenshots of PDF slides in a jpg or a png format?
