Conflunence won't be uninstall on windows

Hello,

I want to uninstall local confluence from windows 8 and during this operation, I got communicate "Confluence failed to shutdown. Please kill the process manually before proceeding"

I searched for this process, but nothing founded.
Anyone have idea how to uninstall this program?

@anik - Here are a couple things to try:

• Try to manually kill the process.  There are multiple articles that reference how to do this but I'll provide you two (one simple and one with more steps that you may need)

    • If that works, then try running the uninstall again

• It is possible that the uninstall completed successfully but couldn't stop and delete the service.  You may want to check to see if the confluence directory is empty/still exists.  If it is empty or doesn't exist then most of the uninstall worked.  If the service is still listed you can try to manually delete the service similar to the comments here.
