Converting Pages to new Editor causes all data to be deleted.

Does anyone else have this issue -> I go to use the new editor in current pages we have already created, and all the data is gone? I wanted to start doing this so I can become more familiar with this crappy editor before it's forced upon all of us. 

The page is completely blank to the point and I can't even revert the changes back to bring back lost data. 

I've tried publishing the page and editing it again to see if the data comes back and it does not. 

I hope they don't push the new editor on us anytime soon and I sorry if this comes of a little ranty. I've done this to multiple pages (some built with templates and some not) now and have lost a lot of time rebuilding these deleted pages.

I haven't had to convert a page to the new editor recently, however, it has not been my experience to lose data to the new editor.  Usually it was formatting issues.

Is there anything unique to your pages? use of a marco or addon, something that embeds your content? It's possible that the new editor doesn't support something you are using, tho unlikely, and the page looks empty,
