Copying pages is intermittently failing

We are trying to copy pages both within a space and between different spaces. The copy is not always successful sometimes getting "Something went wrong. Please try again later" or "An error occurred. Please try again later" both after some period of hanging. I've researched various other questions on the Atlassian community and cannot see any obvious reason why this might be. Can you confirm any causes of this or is it simply due to periodic issues on the Atlassian side which we mean we need to wait before the copy will be successful? Thanks for any help.

Welcome to Atlassian community.

Since the issue is intermittent , the pages whichever are failing to copy what content they have ? Does it use any macro/filter etc? You will have to check if the pages which ever is failing , all has the same content in it? This will help us narrow down the troubleshootingand establish a patter of failures .  Also, anything interesting in the logs? 

At this moment I can only think of one bug which was due to jira filter.

Since the issue is intermittent it will be tricky to reach to the root cause.
