Create anonymously offers only a personal space and then fails

Deleted user December 1, 2016

In our Confluence 5.8.14 if a user clicks 'Create' without being logged in the user is offered to

create a page in a personal space and no other space is visible in the space selector!

The editor comes up but on save vanishes without saving anything and redirects back to the login page.

Is there a way to hide the 'Create' button for users that are not logged in?

Thanks

Harald

Hi Harald,

You can hide the Create button using CSS - see the How to hide elements in Confluence page for details.

The element you're looking for is #create-page-button.

Only one user (of hundreds!) had enabled anonymous users and add page in his personal space and

then restricted his home page to be viewed and edited by himself.

He was told to correct that.
