Creating a chart grouped by month

Julian Haines

Hi,

I am trying to create a graph for Incidents, Service Requests, Changes, Problems and CSIs grouped my month on a Confluence Cloud page and having issues.

I have created a table and put Micros in each cell calculating the total per month as per my screenshot, I have removed all but Incident while trying to fix.

I have the table wrapped up in a Chart from table and for some reason the months total 20? and can't understand what I am doing wrong but new to Confluence Cloud so could be something stupid.

Hi @Julian Haines ,

Seems that you are talking about our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app.

The issue lays in the new Jira macro: 3rd party vendors can't fully support it technically as for now: https://docs.stiltsoft.com/tfac/cloud/faq-using-the-app-188612625.html#FAQUsingtheApp-IstheappcompatiblewiththeJiraIssuesmacro?

If you check the source table in the Chart from Table macro preview, you'll see that your "X issues" are changed to links to Jira.

So, please switch to the Legacy Jira macros instead and use the same JQLs as you've done before. Then everything should be working as expected.

If you have any further questions regarding the app, please refer to our support directly.

Hi @Julian Haines,

If you don't manage to get this done with the existing plugin, you could try also the macros offered by our Great Gadgets app for Confluence.

Pivot Table & Pivot Chart macro - can display the issues grouped by type and a date field (in this example Created date)

If you want a cumulative chart, the Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) macro offered by the same app could be used instead.
