DEV Environment Fail

An issue my team and I are facing w/ theSource DEV environment (which may become an issue w/ the QA and the PROD environment):

  • The DEV environment currently resides in the AWS database server which is triggered to auto-start at 7:30am and the application server starts ½ an hour after at 8am and runs till 4pm/5pm. However, when we launch the DEV environment during that time frame, we are not able to successfully get the DEV page to launch; instead we get a blank page stating “The Service is Unavailable”.
  • I have access to the remote server and have gone in there and rebooted the server as well as restarted the service (Atlassian) from the server, but we are having no luck on getting the DEV page to launch.
  • Moreover, after restarting the service (Atlassian), it looks like something is stopping the service from running as it just stops.

Hi Wade,

Thanks for responding to the issue.

Yes, there are error message or better yet error indications when I log into the server. Silly question, how would I go about providing anyone the log info via email from the remote server?
