Dashboard Space Categories tab problem.

I click on a category in the drop down list under the dashboard Space Categories tab.  I got a message:

This tab shows recently updated content for the selected space category. Mark some spaces with a category and select the category to see updates from the selected space category appear here

Now I can not get back to the drop down list.  I have tried the back arrow, renew page, sign out and back in, nothing is allowing me to get back to the drop down list.    

Any suggestions?

playing around with space categories an suddenly the same problem:

How can I mark the spaces ?

I am experiencing exactly the same problem.

Our system was previously showing the several labels we had applied to some of the spaces but since adding more, the drop down in the Space Categories tab has disappeared.
