Datavase in Confluence

Hi, 

I have created a Confluence page (as database) and connected to Jira filter which filters on Improvements in Backlog and To do. 

I can see the list on the page. 

I have added few improvements in Jira but the Confluence page list is not updated with the new improvements.

My understanding was, since this is a database, the database list on Confluence should automatically update when improvements are added in Jira

If not, can you please advise how the list can be automatically updated?

It seems that is not possible at the moment unfortunately.
