Default Gantt Macro shows in preview but not on page

After following instructions on this help file: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/chart-macro-163415075.html#ChartMacro-GanttChart I followed instructions to the letter. I applied my two tables for Plan and actuals. However, the gantt appears in the preview but not on the page in the macro. It only displays the tables. Is this a bug? What is the issue and how can I resolve it?

We know about such behavior of the standard Chart macro with the dynamic content, for example, when you use it with the Jira Issues macro, Page Properties report macro, etc. As it renders only static data, you'll see a beautiful graph in the preview but nothing after publishing the page. In such cases we recommend to use the Chart from Table macro (Table Filter and Charts app) that is fully compatible with dynamic tables.

So, your case seems to look like a bug - try to create a new page and repeat everything again.
