I deleted a global space and everything seems to be fine. It does not appear in the Global-Space-List when I browse it. Even the Search-function doesn t find it anymore.
But it still appears in the global-space-List in the left corner!
How do I remove it from there?
Hallo Magnus
It looks as if you've hit this bug:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-26122
The Confluence development team is working on it at the moment, and would be very grateful for any information you can give about your environment. Perhaps you could liaise with them via the above issue, about sending them a copy of your Confluence log file to help diagnose the problem.
Cheers, Sarah
Hi Magnus,
Sounds like you still have traces of the space in your instance as you suspected.
This is definitely not normal. Are you using any custom theme or have you applied any customizations?
Anyway, you might want to try fully deleting the space via database as outlined here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+Manually+Delete+a+Space

It still leads to the Space with all settings (Users, restrictions, plugins) saved, but all Pages are gone. I just noticed that the URL is different, normaly it is "http://pt-vs-23:8090/display/key/SpaceName" and for the deleted Space it is http://pt-vs-23:8090/pages/recentlyupdated.action?key=SpaceKey"
