Displaying a count of issues - not working

Displaying a count of issues does not work.  When I build the query, it shows up (and even shows what the count number will be) but when I save it, it doesnt work.

What is not working?

can you explain the context of what you want to do?

if you try to make a dashboard you have to share it with a project, group or organization.

-I am in the Insert/JIRA Issue/Filter macro

-I enter a query, and 3 stories come in the "preview" box.

-I click Display Options - and all I want is the "Count" = 3 so 

-I click "Total Issue Count" 

-I click "Insert" 

- and it does not work.  I dont get '3" displayed in Confluence.  I get just the 3 issues, it reverts back to the other view.
