Hello,
We are using Yammer as social network and Confluence ondemand for our project.
I don't find a link between both of them.
I would like to know if there is an add-on for that ?
If not, Is there an add-on to have the same things than Yammer on Confluence on demand ?
Thanks for your response
Atlassian's HipChat competes with Yammer. It has integration with Confluence On Demand.
I used both, and I like HipChat much more than Yammer.
Hi Aurélie,
There's a third-party plugin available for Yammer integration with Confluence:
https://www.appfusions.com/display/YAMMER/Home
However, it looks like the plugin is supported only for Confluence Server. I'd suggest you to contact them (info@appfusions.com) to check if there's any roadmap for implementing the plugin to Confluence Cloud.
Hope it helps you!
Cheers,
ENunes

Thanks for your response.
But we want to work like Yammer.
Create many groups and if a people wants to rejoin the group, he can without asking the permission.
So, for instance, we keep Yammer and we will see how to integrate it with JIra or Confluence.

Hello,
thanks for your response but I feel that this plugin is a live tchat.
But we need to have a group notion and display notifications about events which are not always connected to JIRA or Confluencce like facebook, Twitter or Yammer.
And i am not sure that HipChat corresponds to this requirement.

There are lots of products in this space with feature sets varying from pretty much real-time chat only, to something much bigger: Slack, Hipchat, Yammer, Flock, Campfire, Unison, TeamChat, SameRoom, etc. Only you can choose which one will work best for you. You asked about Confluence integration, and HipChat has very good Confluence integration. HipChat is a standalone program.not requiring Confluence or Jira to work effectively. In addition to the Atlassian products, it can be integrated with dozens of other products from different vendors (https://www.hipchat.com/integrations) At our company we have teams integrating their application events with HipChat. It has good event notification capabilities with in-app, email, SMS, and mobile push notifications. As you note, HipChat is "chat oriented". However, its search capability and persistent chat rooms, which can be private to a particular group, give it much more capability than simple real-time chats.
