Hi,
I am using confluence 4.2.12 with the documentation theme and want to create a new space with a nested page structure.
The structure I want to use will have a parent page say customer name and then a common set of nested pages such as contact details, tools, etc for each customer. However given the constraint with regard to re-using the same page name for nested pages, this isnt possible.
I know I can name each nested page uniquely - but do I have to go to this trouble - or is there a better template based solution ?
Any guidance much appreciated.
Thanks,
Nial
You must use a plugin like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-versions. It supports duplicate page titles. It is not free - but you can test before buying.
I hope this helps!
Hi Mathias
Thanks for the info - I couldnt justify the price of the pluginh and opted to put the data on a single page using expandable divs - not ideal but will work as a solution. Seems odd that atlassian woud use page name as a unique identifier. Thanks again.
Best,
Nial
