Draw.IO can't save in Confluence environment

When using the draw.io plug-in under Confluence environment, the drawing cannot be saved if there are any Chinese character in the drawing.

This is now fixed. If you have an existing diagram that you cannot save save it via File->Export As->Plain (XML). You can then refresh the browser, create a new diagram and drag that saved diagram into the page to load it back.
