Hello all,
A few days ago I installed the Draw.io app, and have successfully used the integration for a couple of days. I tested the integration of Draw.io diagrams both via the add button '+' and the forward-slash command '/draw...'. Embedding also works.
I returned today to do some work, and the plugin has spontaneously stopped behaving as expected. I can open and edit existing documents, and I do see the Draw.io diagrams on the left pane/menu. However, when attempting to create a new diagram I get the following error as an alert:
Draft Write Error: Draft could not be created
When investigating the network activity, I get the following response payload:
{ "statusCode": 404, "data": { "authorized": true, "valid": true, "errors": [], "successful": true }, "message": "com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.exceptions.NotFoundException: No content found with id : draft and status ContentId{id=5373977}, there is a content object with status : current" }
I've tried using multiple templates (blank, flowchart, etc) and I get the same result.
I went into my settings to uninstall the app in hopes that a reinstall may work, but there uninstall button is disabled.
Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated!
Hi,
Are you having the issue with page drafts only or with published pages also?
Do you still see the issue?
Please check this thread we created yesterday related to the error you are seeing https://github.com/jgraph/drawio/issues/4095
This might be a temporary error with Confluence, but we will retest.
Thanks,
Marija
Hello! Thank you for the reply. Honestly, prior to your comment I had not tried creating a new diagram from a published page. So, I retested and discovered:
1. I can successfully create a diagram in an already published page.
2. I still cannot create a diagram in a page that is in the draft state.
Thank you!
Travis

Thanks for the reply. In that case, please follow the suggested thread.
Looks like browser cache clear solves the issue but only temporarily (all described in the thread). If possible, please clear cache like this: close any Confluence pages, go to https://clear.draw.io/ and retest.
We are aware that this is time-consuming but could help while we investigate this further and conclude if we can solve this on our end or Atlassian should be included also.
Kind regards,
Marija
