I'm on the free edition while I evaluate Confluence for my private business. I have just spent half a day updating an existing Confluence page Draw.io diagram. After editing and subsequently publishing the changes, to my horror I can not see the edits I made - only the previous version sans edits is displayed.
However, when I look at the 'View Source' option in Advanced Details, the updates actually show. When I export the page to a Word document, the updates also show. For some reason they are not displaying on the main Confluence page!
I have tried restoring to previous versions but without any luck. It doesn't fill me with confidence if this product is prone to bugs such as this as but I'm hoping it's related more to my ignorance or unfamiliarity with this tool....any help/advice would be greatly appreciated as I really don't want to have to redo all my previous tedious updates!
Thanks in advance!
Ozi
The issue has been resolved. It transpired that one of 2 embedded diagram attachments included on the page was linked/owned by another page preventing any updates from being published - not ideal but the work around was to:
1. Save and download the correct attachment (double check the png file is showing the edits you need) and make sure it's the .drawio file (not png) you save
2. As a precaution I also made a copy of the parent page - and this also showed the correct version (incorporating the edits I had made)
3. Edit the page → remove duplicate diagrams from the page → Insert a new draw,io blank diagram → from the File menu → Import from → Device… and select the above io file
Actually I think I found a solution. I went into attachments and saved the draw.io binary file and subsequently restored this to a new Confluence page and it displayed all of the edits I had done previously so I can now use this page.
Not ideal and still curious as to why the original edited page is not displaying the published changes I made.

Could we get you to submit this to https://drawio.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/14 please? It would be useful to get details to check it doesn't happen again.

Thanks David - I have posted the issue on the drawio SD portal as requested but not sure if this relates specifically to a drawio or Confluence issue so would prefer to keep it posted on both forums if that's ok.....drawio appears to have saved the edits but Confluence is not publishing them for some reason.
