(Confluence Server 7.4.1 - also noticed in version 6.13) In the last few weeks, I've noticed that any attached images on a page display with a default drop shadow. I realize that this is a configureable attribute, but when I go in to edit the graphic, the properties show that the image has NO effects selected.
I don't so much mind the drop shadow property when looking at screenshots, but NOT on inline graphics that depict icons or buttons on the interface. I place such graphics in at a very small size to be read along with the rest of the content in a step. The drop shadow messes up the surrounding text, making it look "dirty", with a gray backdrop.
My preference would be to have this turned off by default, But as is, the property is locked on "dropshadow."
Ideas?
My Confluence admin found the problem: someone had added CSS to the space, which applied the dropshadow property to every embedded image. Problem solved!
