I have a page that contains a list of tasks. But I want to create a new page with those existing tasks for discussions with my coworkers in the following week to see what how the task is coming along. However, if I were to copy the page, Task Report Macro will automatically think that it is a new task creating a duplicate in Task Report. And if I were to create a new page with the Task Report from the previous week, I would not be able to see the task list while in 'Edit' mode. Is there another way to work around this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Piyarat Chantaworakunakorn

So my understanding is:

  1. There is a page with Tasks in it
  2. You'd like to create Another Page to display the same task but don't want them to be adding a duplicated task to the users that has their name mentioned there

However, I don't quite understand the last statement:

And if I were to create a new page with the Task Report from the previous week, I would not be able to see the task list while in 'Edit' mode.

But by looking at just point #1 and #2, perhaps you can make use of the Excerpt Macro and Excerpt Include Macro to achieve it.

  1. Include the task list section of the first page into the Excerpt Macro
  2. Use the Excerpt Include Macro to include the task list section into the new page so the new page will be seeing the information that is brought over from the first page and not causing duplicated tasks

Hope this helps!
